Nathan is the oldest of the Day Family, members of Spring Valley Chapel. After finishing high school, he spent a year in the construction industry before God called him to the mission field. Nathan ministered for seven months in Thailand until God led him to Ukraine in April of 2004.

As a relatively new arrival in Ukraine, Nathan's primary objective is to learn the language. In accomplishing this goal, he regularly involves himself in everything from Bible studies to shopping in the markets, anywhere that Ukrainian is spoken.
